A walk into Little Beehive Co-op is a journey into the heart of New Zealand's artisanal talent. Reflecting its contribution to the community, Little Beehive Co-op was recognised in the Eelco Boswick civic awards in 2019, a testament to its impact on fostering community ties and nurturing local entrepreneurship.

Starting small with wooden crates for furniture and big dreams, Little Beehive has now transformed into a thriving hub for over 200 New Zealand brands. The strength of its grassroots initiatives and the cooperative model has catalysed its expansion and growth, establishing it as a community staple. A promising future is also on the horizon as the co-op plans to host local events, workshops, and further collaborative projects, potentially around events including Clay Week, Jewellery Week and the Nelson Arts Festival.

They also plan to expand their online store nationally to reach a wider audience, developing high-quality home-brand featuring products under the Little Beehive label
